This is a great example of the big lie.
What’s the big lie?
The big lie is that just because of the color of your skin you can’t be a racist. Better still, this is an example of the kind of abuse Police put up with on a fairly regular basis and even more these days as the media and folks on the Left paint them as villains.
Yes, let’s just defund the Police, right? Let’s let folks like this idiot run around untethered and without any fear of consequences for his actions. What a terrific idea!
I watched a little bit of New York City’s Democratic mayoral debate and it’s clear that it won’t be getting better any time soon and more likely will get way, way worse.
The Police were not and are not the problem, putting social workers out on the street won’t do anything to stop crime. Enacting bail reform so people don’t spend time in jail won’t make the city safer. Oh, and this bullshit about spending money on ‘the kids’ is just throwing money at a problem without looking for true solutions but today that’s one thing as a society we’ve gotten very, very good at.
You see, personal responsibility just isn’t a big thing in a lot of circles and it’s not favored at all if you align on the Left.
There simply must be some external force that is responsible for your lot in life, your behavior in a given situation has absolutely NOTHING to do with the outcome!
It’s just priceless, it really is.
All I can say is that I’ve been working from home, I haven’t had to go into the city on a regular basis for over a year now and I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve ventured into Manhattan and I don’t care what the media tries to push I’m not returning any time soon. It’s not safer and it’s getting even more unsafe by the day.
It’s not the fault of the Police either, it’s the politicians who simply don’t have what it takes to be true leaders. True leaders do things that while they may not be popular will make a difference - none of the crop of imbeciles running for office now has anything other than looking to advance their own careers or standing. It’s akin to the fall of the Roman Empire.
It’s funny... anyone under the age of 35 has no idea just how bad things can really get and even the 35 to 45 crowd has a vague memory if one at all of just how bad the city once was. Well, they’re going to find out soon and not only that but it sure looks like it’s going to be way worse and I say that because I don’t remember young kids getting shot and killed years ago, that certainly didn’t happen but over the last year it’s happened a few times and oddly enough I haven’t seen any big BLM demonstrations in response.
Oh and you can be assured that in the majority of these shootings, the person doing the shooting IS NOT a licensed gun owner.
